Aldridge scores a double-double: Lillard adds 21 to lead Blazers to win over Hawks

The Portland Trailblazers to me are not the same team without All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge. It was nice to see him back on the court last night after suffering from injury. The Portland Trailblazers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 100-85. LaMarcus Aldridge achieved a double-double. Power forward Aldridge scored 25 points, 16 rebounds, had 9 of 21 shooting from the field and a perfect 7 of 7 from the free throw line. Damian Lillard scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Nicolas Batums scored 12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Robin Lopez scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks. Wesley Matthews added 11 points, 3 rebounds and shot 3 of 6 from three point land. How happy are you Blazers fans to see Aldridge back? How far will this team go in the 2014 NBA Playoffs? Louis Williams scored 16 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds. Elton Brand achieved a double-double. Brand scored 11 points and 12 rebounds. The Hawks only lead the Knicks by 1 1/2 games.
