Anthony Davis : One of the best power forwards in the NBA

I admit I am high on Anthony Davis. Since his days in the University of Kentucky, I had a feeling this kid was going to be a stuid in the NBA. Why he is not starting in the frontcourt for the Western Conference All Stars is beyond me. Davis put on a clinic last night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Davis scored 30 points, 8 blocks and 7 rebounds. The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 100-89. Shooting guard Eric Gordon scored 20 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Brian Roberts added 12 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Davis was the 1st pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. I believe the Pelicans made the right decision in taking this kid. He has got mad skills. For the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving lead Cavs scorers with 23 points. Kyrie had 5 assists and 3 rebounds to go along with his 23 points. Dion Waiters added 21 points on 9 of 13 shooting. The first pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, Anthony Bennett actually had a solid game for a change. Bennett scored 15 points, pulled down 8 rebounds, and shot 5 of 10 from the field. If Bennett could shoot 40 percent from the field that would be impressive. I still am not sold on him yet. Congratulations to the New Orleans Pelicans on the win. What did you think of Anthony Davis play? Am I overhyping him? Send me your thoughts on this. Do you think the Pelicans will make the playoffs in a tough Western Conference? Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
