The Ten Teams of Christmas: Thunder VS Knicks

Did anyone besides me yesterday predict that this game was going to be a blowout? Don't get me wrong I like the New York Knicks, but having no Carmelo Anthony was plain awful. Yesterday I kept seeing the Knicks jacking up three pointer after three pointer. I think if they would have took the ball to the hole more, they could have got to the free throw line. Yesterday Russell Westbrook became the 5th player in NBA History to have a triple double on Christmas Day. The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Carmelo Anthonyless New York Knicks 123-94. Kevin Durant lead the show for the Thunder with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Serge Ibaka is developing more of an offensive game this season. Ibaka added 24 points. I'm impressed with the play of Ibaka this season. Reggie Jackson scored 18 off the bench. Russell Westbrook obtained triple-double status yesterday. Westbrook scored 14 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, to give him his 7th career triple double. For the New York Knicks, Amare Stoudemire lead with 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting. Rookie Tim Hardaway Jr scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. J.R. Smith added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. What did you think of this game? How impressive was Westbrook with his triple-double? Can the Thunder go to the NBA Finals this season? Who or what can help the Knicks this season? Send me your thoughts on this game. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and have a happy new year. I just wanted to write some articles. Stay tuned for more changes to this blog. So enjoy the rest of the year. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
