Knicks snap 9 game skid with 30 point win over Nets

Last night on TNT was the battle of the New York teams, The New York Knicks going to Barclay Center against the Brooklyn Nets. What I seen last night surprised me some. The Knicks I felt were starving for a victory like someone who hasn't eaten in a while. Coming into this game the Knicks have lost 9 games. Last night the Knicks were reminding me of the Knicks from the 2012-2013 NBA season. They shot 57 percent from the field and shot 59 from three point range. Last night the New York Knicks finally snapped a nine game skid with a 113-83 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Carmelo Anthony lead the way with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Iman Shumpert scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Shumpert hit 5 threes in the game. Andrea Bargnani added 16 points, 3 assists and 3 blocks. I remember one play where Bargnani took the ball to the rim and threw down a dunk. It was awesome. If the New York Knicks could play 6 or 7 out of 10 games like this, then they could be fighting for playoff spot, and even move up in the Eastern Conference standing. What I saw out of Brooklyn was these things 1) Most of this team is filled with veterans who have ran out of gas (please don't take this wrong I think Kevin Garnett is great) , he just looked like he ran out of gas. 2) They couldn't find a shooting groove at all. They shot 39 percent for the game. Brook Lopez lead the way for the Nets with 24 points and 9 rebounds. Joe Johnson added 13 points and shot a horrible 4 of 15 from the field. I loved Jason Kidd as a player. I just think it was too soon to bring in Kidd as a coach. I think to win a championship they shouldn't have brought in a rookie coach. I also noticed I didn't see the Nets call very many timeouts when they should of. The bright side is though it's only almost 20 games into the season, and their is over 75% more of the season to go. Can the Nets turn things around? How did you like the performance by the Knicks? Carmelo had six assists and I feel he needs to assist more. Congratulations to the New York Knicks on a game incredible well played. For the Brooklyn Nets and fans don't give up. This season isn't over yet. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
