The Lakers move back to .500 with win over Kings
I didn't think the Lakers were going to be this good this season without Kobe. I thought the only player who would be decent would be seven footer Pau Gasol. I love to be proven wrong. This team is finding ways to stay competitive until the Black Mamba better known as Kobe Bryant comes back. On Sunday the Lakers played the Kings going into the game 6-7 record. The L.A. Lakers defeated the Sacramento Kings 100-86 to move back to .500 ball. Xavier Henry has done good in Kobe's absence. Henry scored 21 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the field. Pau Gasol had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Jodie Meeks scored 14 points. Jordan Hill again had a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. I am proud of how well the Lakers have played. For the Sacramento Kings point guard Greivis Vasquez lead with 20 points and seven assists. DeMarcus Cousins scored 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. The rookie shooting guard out of the University of Kansas, Ben McLemore scored 15 points and knocked down three three-pointers. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land. What are your thoughts on the Lakers this season? What are your thoughts on the Sacramento Kings? Send me your thoughts on these teams or any other NBA Teams.
