Pelicans improve to 2-3 with win over Grizzlies

Last night the New Orleans Pelicans played against the Memphis Grizzlies. Eric Gordon scored 19 points to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to a 99-84 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. Anthony Davis came close to a double-double. Davis the 2012 number one draft pick, scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and had 3 blocks. Tyreke Evans scored 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists off the bench. Newcomer point guard Jrue Holiday added 11 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. For the Memphis Grizzlies their wasn't much to talk about. Michael Conley was the best for Memphis with 26 points, on 10 out of 16 from the field. Marc Gasol added 11 points and 4 rebounds.
