Kevin Durant gets a double-double and sends Spurs to their 2nd loss of the season
Kevin Durant is one of the best small forwards currently in the NBA. Durant helped the Oklahoma City Thunder defeat the San Antonio Spurs 94-88, to send the Spurs to only their second loss of the season. Durant scored 24 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Reggie Jackson played incredible off the bench with 23 points. Serge Ibaka also had a double double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Ibaka or I perfer to call him Iblocka had 5 blocks in this game. Shooting guard Jeremy Lamb added 12 points off the bench. Lamb shot 5 of 7 for the game. I hope Lamb keeps this up. The win for the Oklahoma City Thunder improves their record to 10-3. For the San Antonio Spurs, Tony Parker lead with 16 points and 7 assists. Small Forward Kawhi Leonard scored 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Manu Ginobili added 12 points. Tim Duncan scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. What did you think of this game as a Thunder fan? How do you like the bench stepping up ( Jeremy Lamb and Reggie Jackson)? Would you say that Serge Ibaka is trying to be that 3rd offensive weapon for the Thunder? How impressed Spurs fans are you with their 13-2 start? Will the Spurs be back in the NBA Finals this season? Send me your thoughts here or get involved on the forum on my blog. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
