Five Players in double figures help Minnesota defeat the Los Angeles Lakers

Minnesota Timberwolves are off to a 5-2 start this NBA Season. I am loving the free agent pickups of Kevin Martin and Corey Brewer. Kevin Love is playing out of his mind. Last night against the Los Angeles Lakers, Five players scored in double figures for the T-Wolves to help defeat the Lakers 113-90. Leading the way was scoring two guard Kevin Martin. Martin scored 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Kevin Love obtained a double-double, with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Corey Brewer scored 17 points and had 4 steals. Brewer shot 6 of 9 from the field. Nikola Pekovic also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Ricky Rubio achieved a triple-double. Rubio scored 12 points, 14 assists, and pulled down 10 rebounds. Ricky also had 5 steals. Minnesota ended the first quarter up 47-23. Timberwolves five starters was putting on an offensive clinic last night. For the Los Angeles Lakers only three players scored in double figures. Steve Blake lead the way with 19 points and 8 assists. Jodie Meeks scored 16 points off the bench. Pau Gasol achieved a double-double. The 7 footer Gasol scored 11 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Gasol also had 4 assists and 4 blocks. What did you think of Minnesota's performance? Do you think they will make the playoffs? Do you think the Los Angeles Lakers will make the playoffs? I want to hear from you. Tell me what you think about this game. Thank you for reading Pro Basketball Hoops Land.
