NBA Opening Night Record: 18 Blocks helps Pacers defeat Magic

Tuesday evening the Indiana Pacers played defense on opening night that I haven't seen. The record on opening night for blocks happened. Pacers were blocking shots like crazy. Roy Hibbert lead all Pacers in blocks with 7. All Star Pacers wing player Paul George lead the way for Indiana by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 blocks, on 8 of 16 shooting from the field. George and the Pacers defeated the Orlando Magic 97-87. Lance Stephenson added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. David West scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks. Roy Hibbert added 8 points, 16 rebounds and 7 blocks. For the Orlando Magic I thought they played decent. I feel the problem was taking out Andrew Nicholson who lead the Magic with 18 points. Maurice Harkless added 14. Veteran point guard Jameer Nelson scored 12 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Number two pick guard Victor Oladipo scored 12 points and shot 4 out of 11 in his NBA debut.
