Lakers Bench Gives the Clippers a haircut with a 116-103 win.

Who did you think last night was going to win this game? I predicted the Clippers were to win this game. I was wrong and was shocked. The Lakers bench gave the Clippers a haircut, not a physical haircut like you see at the barber shop or beauty salon. I'm talking more about defensively I felt the Chris Paul and Blake Griffin Clippers team doesn't play with enough defensive intensity. I admit I couldn't resist the haircut joke here. Giving up 73 points to the Lakers bench is ridiculous. Xavier Henry played last night like he was out of his mind. Henry scored a career high 22 points on 8 of 13 shooting. Xavier was 3 out of 4 from downtown. Returning L.A. Laker point guard Jordan Farmar provided 16 points and dished out 6 assists. Pau Gasol achieved double-double status with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Newcomer Nick Young added 13 points. Jodie Meeks also added 13 points. The entire fourth quarter had no starter from the Los Angeles Lakers on the floor. For the L.A. Clippers Blake Griffin lead with 19 points. DeAndre Jordan I felt played great, He acquired double-double status with 17 points, 11 rebounds, while also adding 3 steals and 3 blocks. Playmaker point guard Chris Paul also achieved a double double with 15 points and 11 assists. CP3 also added 6 rebounds and 5 steals. 6th man Jamal Crawford also scored 15 points. Blake Griffin who is considered box office needs to step up his game more especially on the defensive end. Clippers shot 56 percent from the free throw line. You can't win games shooting that bad from the line. I feel that Blake and DeAndre Jordan need to work on their free throw shooting. I was very impressed with the bench of the Lakers. Congratulations to them on winning and stepping up in the absence of Kobe being injured. What are your thoughts on this game? Send me your comments on what the Lakers and Clippers need to do this year? Thank you for reading this blog.
