Is Michael Carter Williams The Steal of this NBA Draft?
Last night the Philadelphia 76ers played against the Miami Heat. I'm going to be honest here I thought the Heat were going to smoke the Sixers. The game got off to Philadephia up 19-0 early. One point in the game it was 26-4. Their is a 6 foot 6 point guard drafted 11th this season named Michael Carter Williams. The way he played last night was incredible. Carter-Williams scored 22 points, 12 assists, 9 steals, and 7 rebounds. To come within a steal and 3 rebounds on opening night for a quadruple double as a rookie is very impressive. I know it's only one game. It's still exciting to have happen. 76ers not only had a rookie to come close to a quadruple double, but to also defeat the Miami Heat on their opening night 114-110. Evan Turner lead the Sixers with 26 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds on 10 of 19 shooting. Spencer Hawes came close to a double double with 24 points and 9 rebounds. You already know what Michael Carter Williams did. Tony Wroten was solid with 14 points. Michael Carter Williams is so far looking like to be the steal of this 2013 NBA Draft. Could he possibly win rookie of the year? With stats like this on a nearly nightly basis, I would say yes. I'm proud of the way he played. For the Miami Heat Lebron James lead with 25 points and 13 assists. Chris Bosh acquired double double status as well with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Ray Allen scored 19 points. Allen also hit four three point shots. Point Guard speedster Mario Chalmers added 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. So 76er's fans what do you think about this game? Congratulations to the Philadelphia 76ers on their opening night in defeating the 2012-2013 NBA Champs the Miami Heat. Thank you for reading my blog. Send me your comments.
