A strange draft the 2013 NBA Draft
Last night on ESPN was the 2013 NBA Draft. The first pick to me wasn't strange as there were all kinds of players who could have gone first in this draft. When the Cleveland Cavaliers selected six foot seven combo forward Anthony Bennett out of UNLV I wasn't surprised. I think the look on Bill Simmons face was priceless though and he was thinking what. What I didn't understand in this draft was why Philadelphia traded off Jrue Holiday to the Pelicans. I was hoping Nerlens Noel the six foot eleven forward slash center out of Kentucky would have stayed on the Pelicans. If Noel would have stayed on the Pelicans then him and Anthony Davis the 2012 number one pick from the Hornets now Pelicans would have been a block party in New Orleans. Ben McLemore dropped all the way to 7 to the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are going to be getting a great player. Will Tyreke Evans move to the point guard spot or be a sixth man? Trey Burke didn't go until 9th and then traded to Utah. I get why Minnesota would trade him to Utah though with already having Ricky Rubio. Just Burke not going to ninth leaving me scratching my head. The Jazz are finally going to get a great point guard they need since Deron Williams. I also guess the Pistons have faith that Brandon Knight will be their starting point guard for the future. I did enjoy the Steven Adams pick for the Thunder because to me the Oklahoma City Thunder needed a scoring big man. The Magic select Victor Oladipo with the second pick which is a solid pick to me. I still though think that teams who passed on McLemore are going to regret it. So what did you think of this NBA Draft? Tell me what you liked about it or hated about it. Also don't forget if you haven't already to preorder NBA2K14 right from this blog today. Thank you for reading my NBA Blog.
