My Western Conference Predictions

The other day I posted my Eastern Conference Predictions now I will mention the NBA Playoffs Western Conference Matchups and My predictions on them. Matchups are 1. Oklahoma City Thunder VS 8. Houston Rockets 2. San Antonio Spurs VS 7. Los Angeles Lakers 3. Denver Nuggets VS 6. Golden State Warriors 4. Los Angeles Clippers VS 5. Memphis Grizzlies Now let's talk about matchup number 1 between the Thunder and the Rockets. I really am curious to see how well James Harden on the Rockets does against his former team the Thunder. While I think the Rockets have a solid shot at beating the Thunder I'm going to go with the Thunder winning this series in six games. I think that Durant and Westbrook will be too much for the Rockets. Matchup Number Two between the Spurs and the Lakers could be an interesting one but I'm going to go with the Spurs winning it in five games. The guys in the San Antonio Spurs system knows how to play. I haven't seen enough this season from the Lakers to make me think that they are going to go to the NBA Finals let alone even the Western Conference Finals. Dwight Howard is going to have to have an amazing series for the Lakers to have a shot at beating the Spurs. Matchup Number Three will be a fun one to watch. The Denver Nuggets I think should turn up the fast break athleticism that they've played during the season. Stephen Curry history maker in three point shooting and assists in the same season will be the key for the Warriors if they are to beat the Denver Nuggets. David Lee needs to average a double double. I want to go with the Warriors here but something tells me that the Denver Nuggets are going to step up the intensity. Athletic forward Kenneth Faried will be a huge factor for the Nuggets along with Ty Lawson and Andre Iguodala. I'm going to go with the Nuggets win 6 games. Matchup Number Four and the final matchup I think will be a very exciting matchup. The Los Angeles Clippers going against the Memphis Grizzlies. This to me is the toughest one for me to judge on who will win. Low post scorers Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph have to be a huge factor in this series. Tayshaun Prince I think will be an X-Factor in this series. I think he's going to come up big in this series but I could be wrong. Michael Conley must have amazing passing and to be able to stay on top of Clippers all star point guard Chris Paul to be able to help the Grizzlies win the series against the Clippers. The Clippers must get amazing production out of everyone especially Chris Paul and amazing slam dunking power forward Blake Griffin. I'm going to go with the Clippers winning it in 7 games. I think the Clippers have too much depth for the Grizzlies to handle. Grizzlies though must get some production off of the bench and Jerryd Bayless must be huge in this series as well.
