Why The Heat will repeat as NBA Champions

The Miami Heat are the most dangerous team in basketball. It starts out with the intensity of Lebron James. Lebron reminds me of the mindset of Michael Jordan but the play of Magic Johnson. Just like Magic Johnson could Lebron can play all five positions. Dwyane Wade after suffering so many injuries is back to the old Wade playing which makes for awesome basketball. Chris Bosh can score in the post and hit the 15 to 20 foot jump shot. So if you try to double team Wade and Lebron it leaves Bosh open. Mario Chalmers also has improved his play and stepped up his play. Chalmers is starting to remind me a bit of his days when he was in Kansas and being that clutch player. Signing Chris (Birdman) Andersen was a very smart pickup in that he can block shots inside to try and keep teams from getting into the post. Now that I've covered all five starters let talk some about this Heat bench. I think I first have to mention Shane Battier. Battier wasn't only involved in this streak but he was involved in the streak when the Rockets won 22 games in row. Battier is hitting more threes than I've ever seen him hit. Since last year in the NBA Finals when he was against the Oklahoma City Thunder he has been the open player knocking down shots from downtown. Battier's three point shooting has made the Heat even more dangerous than ever. The Heat during the offseason signed ex Boston Celtics Ray Allen. Ray Allen is one of the if not the nastiest three point shooter ever. So Allen can get open for that three. Then you have Norris Cole a point guard out of Cleveland State who was drafted 28th in 2011 by the Heat with such speed down the court. Rashard Lewis was also added during this off season to had more Heat three point shooting. Its hard to guard all these guys when you have numbers of players who can score and burn you from outside. So in your opinion is there one team in the east who can stop the Heat from going to the 2013 NBA Finals? Is there a team this season that could give the Miami Heat some fits? If you think there is I would love to hear your comment about this. I thank you for reading my NBA Blog.
