The Streak Is On For The Heat

The Miami Heat have the best record in the NBA at 52-14. Boston had a 17 point lead and it seemed like that the Miami streak of 22 games was over. Wrong. The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics 105-103 with James hitting a jumper with 10.5 seconds remaining. Lebron James led the way for the Heat with 37 points, 12 assists and 7 rebounds. Mario Chalmers scored 21 points and hit 4 out of 5 from downtown. Dwyane Wade scored 16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. The Heat trailed by 17 points to Boston in the second quarter. If I were to say something to the Heat in the second quarter I would tell the Heat the song title by the group Starship "Find Your Way Back". Well the Heat did find there way back. Lebron has averaged 26.9 points per game in the last 23 games. The Heat are 10 games away from tying the record of the 1971-1972 Los Angeles Lakers record of 33 straight games won. For The Boston Celtics Jeff Green had a career high with 43 points. Green also had 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. It seemed like for a while it was a battle between Jeff Green and Lebron James. Paul Pierce scored 17 points, pulled down 8 boards and had 8 assists while shooting 6 out of 11 from the field. Courtney Lee added 13 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds. This was an intense and exciting game. I almost thought the Celtics were possibly going to pull this won out like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. But the Miami Heat and Lebron James are good at coming back in games. I thank you for reading my NBA blog.
