Paul George and the Indiana Pacers shine in win over the Dallas Mavericks.
The Indiana Pacers to me are the most impressive team in basketball. Most of there players were drafted 11th pick or later. Paul George was drafted in the top ten by the Pacers. DJ Augustin was drafted by the Bobcats. Other than George and Augustin every one on the Pacers is late first round to second round. Paul George one of those top ten shined against the Dallas Mavericks last night. George scored 24 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals to help the Indiana Pacers defeat the Dallas Mavericks 103-78. A very impressive 25 point win for the Pacers. Roy Hibbert achieved a double double in this game with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Tyler Hansbrough came close to a double double with 13 points and 9 rebounds. The win for the Pacers keep them in the second seed in the Eastern Conference and a half a game ahead of the New York Knicks. Paul George is a very impressive player who to me is in all star status now and leaning towards superstar status. For The Dallas Mavericks this was a game that was a must needed win to keep up with the Los Angeles Lakers since they lost to the Milwaukee Bucks. Dallas now trails the Los Angeles Lakers by 1 and a half game. Dirk also doesn't get to shave the beard since the Mavs aren't at .500 yet. Dirk Nowitzki lead the way for the Mavericks in scoring with 21 points and had 7 rebounds. Vince Carter added 14 points and 3 steals. Darren Collison scored 10 points and 8 assists. I thank you for reading my NBA Blog.
