Kobes 42 helps Lakers defeat the Hornets
The Los Angeles Lakers are fighting and scrapping to get into that 8th playoff spot at least. Last night the Hornets started the 4th quarter up 93-75. Kobe Bryant and the Lakers put on a clinic in the fourth quarter outscoring the Hornets 33-9 in the fourth to beat the Hornets 108-102. Kobe Bryant led with 42 points, had 12 assists and 7 rebounds while shooting 14 out of 21 from the field. Dwight Howard also had a double double with 20 points and 15 rebounds. Jodie Meeks scored 19 points off the bench and hit 5 three pointers. The win puts the Lakers 1 and a half games away from the Utah Jazz for the 8th spot.
The New Orleans Hornets leading scorer was Eric Gordon with 18 points. Greivis Vasquez had a double double with 15 points and 12 assists. Ryan Anderson scored 14 points. Robin Lopez had a double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Rookie Anthony Davis scored 13 points, had 6 rebounds on 5 out of 8 shooting. Thank you for reading my NBA Blog.
