Sixers Clinch Playoff Spot by beating the Nets
The Philadelphia 76ers having been playing good basketball lately. They've been playing good enough that they beat the Nets 115-90 to clinch a playoff spot in the east. Thaddeus Young has been playing amazing and led the Sixers in scoring with 22 points. Elton Brand added 21 points and Jrue Holidays added 17 points. They improve there record to 40-36 and are currently in the 6th seed in the eastern conference. For the Nets Brandan Wright led with 15 points, Mario West added 13 and one of my favorite centers in the league Brook Lopez added 11 points. The Nets record dropped to 23-52 and are completely out of playoff contention. This was a big win for the 76ers and it guaranteed them a playoff spot. I'm leaning that they'll either play the Celtics, Heat or the Bulls in the playoffs.
