Kobe Bryant scores 19 to help Lakers take a 3-2 lead over Hornets
Kobe Bryant scored 19 points tonight and shot 8 of 13 to help the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the New Orleans Hornets 106-90. I'd say the Lakers didn't get punked out or played like punks tonight. Andrew Bynum added a double double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Pau Gasol scored 16 points and pulled down 8 rebounds. The Lakers in game 4 didn't play like NBA champs but this game was different as they played much better. As for the New Orleans Hornets Trevor Ariza led with 22 points. Marco Belinelli added 21 points on 8 of 14 shooting. Chris Paul added 20 points and 12 assists. Game 6 is played Thursday and the Hornets need to win the next game and play like they did in game 4 to stay in this. Hornets taking 2 games against L.A. Lakers is impressive to me though. I do think Chris Paul is a great point guard and would like to see him get a ring.
