Carmelo Anthony Trade

It finally happened last night Carmelo Anthony is now on the New York Knicks.  After months and months and pretty much all season of hearing him going to possible teams like Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers he finally is playing on the same team as Amare Stoudemire.   Here is how the trade broke down



New York Knicks trades Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton,  Timofey Mozgov,  2012,2013 2nd round picks and 2014 1st round pick to Denver


Denver trades Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Anthony Carter, Sheldon Williams and Renaldo Balkman to the New York Knicks


New York trades Eddy Curry, Anthony Randolph and 3 million dollars to the Minnesota Timberwolves


Minnesota sends Corey Brewer to the New York Knicks



this trade now gives New York knicks two superstars in Madison Square Garden Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire.  New York can go for Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Dwight Howard in the 2012 Free Agency.   New York has a shot now to try and compete with the likes of Miami Heat, Boston Celtics,, Chicago Bulls and Orlando Magic in the east.
